West Chiltington Village Hall
West Chiltington Village Hall is located in the lovely West Sussex village of West Chiltington on the edge of the South Downs National Park. It is 2.5 miles from both Storrington and Pulborough.
The Hall has charitable status as per the original Trust Deed and is managed on behalf of the community by local volunteers who are either elected Trustees or appointed representatives. The hall receives no funding from local or national authorities and relies entirely on the hiring income received and the full and active support of the Trustees.
The Main Hall comprises a spacious reception area and large hall with Stage. There is also a separate Annexe, all of which are maintained to a very high standard. The rooms are centrally heated and the Hall complies with current regulations for disabled access, including a disabled toilet. There is ample free parking space adjacent to the hall.
A large kitchen is attached to the main hall and in 2015 we upgraded the kitchen appliances. This now includes a range cooker with large single oven and a five hob top. There is a new fridge/freezer and hot cupboard, and these items have ample capacity to deal with meals for large events.
These excellent facilities are provided to local people for regular club and society meetings, including exercise classes and sports activities, as well as one off events such as Wedding Receptions, Christenings and parties for both adults and children.
The Hall is fully licensed by Horsham District Council for alcohol consumption and entertainment, details of which are available at the time of booking. Under the Hallmark Standard Scheme for Village Halls we gained the award of Level 3.
