Charges Per hour for 2024 & 2025
Main Hall
The Main Hall is available for hire every day throughout the year (with the exception of Christmas Day), all day, normally from 09.00 until 23.00hrs when all hirers must be off site and the premises locked. The Main Hall is fully licenced for alcohol consumption and entertainment and can accommodate 175 people seated in a theatre style format and 110 seated at tables. These figures must include everyone helping with the event.
Subject to the nature of the event the standard charges for the Main Hall, inclusive of utilities and the use of the kitchen for refreshments only are:
Private non-profit bookings | £32.00 per hour |
Commercial Bookings | £34.00 per hour |
Registered Charity Bookings | £20.00.per hour |
For certain events, there may be an additional charge for the use of the piano, stage lighting and sound, and if full use of the kitchen is required there will be an additional single charge of £20 per booking, which will be advised at the time of the booking.
Wedding
There is a set charge for weekend weddings of £650.00 which includes the Main Hall and Windmill Room for the full day 09.00 to 23.30 hrs. This charge will include the use of the kitchen and all appliances, use of the piano, stage lighting and sound.
Large or weekend parties
These events will be charged at an hourly rate according to the type of event planned and the amount of time booked. Please apply to the booking secretary for a quotation.
Local Clubs/Group Users of the main hall who hire 10+ dates in a year.
Band 1 | up to 30 users | £13.00 per hour |
Band 2 | 31 to 99 users | £17.00 per hour |
Band 3 | Over 100 users | £22.00 per hour + £10.00 one-off charge for use of the kitchen if needed for light refreshments only |
If regular users require the use of the kitchen for events booked as open to the public, all day bookings or providing meals there will be an additional charge of £10.00. This will include the use of the cooker, hot cupboard and fridge/freezer and the charge will be advised at the time of booking.
The Windmill Room
The rear Windmill Room is available for hire separately or together with the Main Hall, throughout the year (apart from Christmas Day), all day, normally from 09.00 until 23.30 hrs when all hirers must be off site and the premises locked.
The standard charges per hour for this area, inclusive of utilities and the use of the small kitchen for refreshments only are:
Regular bookings of 10+ per year | £10.00 |
One-off private bookings | £15.00 |
Commercial bookings | £17.00 |
The Windmill Room is fully licenced for alcohol consumption and entertainment and can accommodate 35 people seated in a theatre style format and must include anyone helping with the event. The use of tables and chairs are included in this charge.
Please note that all bookings must include time for setting up and clearing away, leaving everything exactly as you found it. Detailed standard terms and conditions apply. The building must be cleared and locked by 23.30hrs.
For all one-off bookings hirers will be required to provide a refundable damage deposit that will be returned after the booking providing everything is left in good order
