About The Hall

West Chiltington Village Hall is located in the lovely West Sussex village of West Chiltington on the edge of the South Downs National Park. It is 2.5 miles from both Storrington and Pulborough.

The Hall has charitable status as defined in the original Trust Deed and is managed on behalf of the community by local volunteers who are either elected Trustees or appointed representatives.

The hall receives no funding from local or national authorities and relies entirely on the hiring income received and the full and active support of the Trustees.

These excellent facilities are provided to local people for regular club and society meetings, including exercise classes and sports activities, as well as one off events such as Wedding Receptions, Christenings and parties for both adults and children. We are able to offer WiFi service and Hearing Loop connection and accessible facilities for disabled visitors.

The Main Hall and the Windmill Room are available for hire every day throughout the year, normally from 8.00am until 11.30pm, when all hirers must be off site. The Main Hall is accessed through a foyer at the front of the building and the Windmill Room through its own entrance at the back of the building. Both areas are self-contained with excellent kitchen and accessible facilities.

The Hall is fully licensed by Horsham District Council for alcohol consumption and entertainment, details of which are available at the time of booking. Under the Hallmark Standard Scheme for Village Halls we gained the award of Level 3. There are also excellent parking facilities making this the perfect venue for all functions.
